Upon returning to my sleigh yesterday afternoon this is what I was greeted to. No note, no nothing. Bastard.
Merry Christmas to me; bah humbug!
I gotta tell you, when the pictures loaded my pulse rate went through the roof. Man does that p--- me off! My wife and I just got back from some Christmas shopping in the Fiat (crowded parking lots) and I'm thinking "there but for the grace of God" Don't let it spoil your season though, hard as that may be. Just remember, what goes around, comes around. Ron
Sorry man. I know how you feel. I've never been in an accident but 4 of my cars have been hit while parked and only once did the perpetrator fess up.
To add insult to injury that's a collision deductible (unless you pay the big bucks for broadened collision). Never understood that. Your car is parked and it's collision. You hit an animal while moving and it's comprehensive.

That's just unbelievably upsetting! I feel your rage, pain and dismay. Take it home, cover it up and don't look at it until after the holidays.
For some reason, parking lot damage really boils my blood. I've done some crazy things like confront people 4 times bigger than me over a door ding. It is just so unnecessary and not leaving a note is just plain cowardly.
It could be worse. I had my '69 Fiat Spider totalled while sitting in an empty parking lot, under a light. A drunk driver jumped the sidewalk and crashed right into it.

Ouch, The square indention looks like the reciever for a tow hitch on a truck or SUV. They had to know they hit you. I'd hate to be behind that guy when they are actually towing something.
When I was 16 I rearended a minivan and the hood looked very similar. Don't know how but the local body shop poped it back out and you couldn't tell the difference.
While living in Chicago I went out to my car one day and the bumper of my Corolla was laying on the ground in front of the car. Insurance would cover acts of vandalisim but not hit and run. Went to the pick and pull and found one for $50.

this happened a few weeks back. A neighbor just backed right into me with a Pathfinder.
I watched her do it and then drive off. I wasn't sure where she lived exactly but the Santa Monica Detectives
tracked her down and scared the crap out of her.
Within a week she was at my door with $1000.
The 2 estimates were a $1000 and $1800. (the square punch was from the frame that holds her spare tire).
Sorry for your damage!!
