Black/white abarth

Post by azygoustoyou »

I remember seeing a black and white car a long time ago on here. I think it was an abarth replica. I can't find the link. Does anyone have pic's of this car? It was a sweet car.

Can't remember the name of the guy who built it. Someone in the netherlands IIRC, takes volumex spiders and makes them abarth replicas. All of his cars were amazing

Do you know if the car was fitted with independant rear suspension?
Several years ago I thought I saw a post here where someone was going to try a rear from a Subaru.

Does anyone know where to buy the fender flares? I can't find them.
Does anyone have the front turn signals for sale like in the pic in really good shape?

the front signals are the standard early front blinker housing with a clear lens that he smoked out, the housings come up on ebay every once in a while and i think some of the vendors might have them for sale... not sure though.

c obert has an "abarth" flare kit, cant tell if its the same shape or not

c obert also has a group 3 rally set

http://www.fiatplus.com/group-3-fender- ... 00012.html

they're not cheap though lol

the midwest-bayless ebay store also has a set of flares that they sell, although I dont currently see it listed, so they might be our of stock. It looks similar to the 124 coupe set they have listed right now

That is one mean machine. The Abarth was no poser, winning both the European and World Rally Championships, and that takes some doing.

Anyone have those flares installed on a "regular" fiat. They seem cool on the Abarth, but not so sure on mine.....picture please.

What size flare kit does it look like he used? 1/2" or 3"

if the choices are 1/2" or 3", then that is definitely the 3".
I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!

Door handles are from later cars, rear lights are the second style (built in back up lights), but front turn signals are early. I assume they chose the best looking parts, in my opinion, and built one badass looking spider.

It's an actual volumex spider if i remember correctly. So that would make the year 82+

I was able to find a hard top and roll bar for the abarth.
Here is a link to what this top looks like on an Abarth.
