I'm so thrilled to see such enthusiasm here!

Post by MrWampus »

I just wanted to take a minute to express my joy at seeing such enthusiasm expressed about old spiders. I really thought there was something wrong with me because every time I get behind the wheel of my car I have a great sense of joy and satisfaction. I can't explain it rationally. When you consider that these cars are pretty basic, lack many of today's creature comforts, they rattle like china shop in a earthquake, they're so loud on the highway with the top down, you can't hear yourself think, they have electrical problems, transmission problems, brake problems, fuel problems, and on and on. Yet, I'd rather drive this little car than just about anything else I can think of.

Anyway, I thought I was just a nut, but it turns out there are a whole lot of nuts like me out there, and some of you seem to have it even worse than me!

So thanks for the insights, the wisdom and most of all, the stories about your Fiat adventures! Please keep them coming.

Jim

Well said Jim, exactly my thoughts, my wife just doesn't quite understand it, but I think all or us spider nuts get it...

That is awesome! You have to drive one to fully understand. I use to say that about my Hayabusa and have now transitioned to the Fiats.

we are all infected. But it is a great thing we are all infected together and at the same time.
