Here is a pic showing the front air dam and fender flare connection. They overlap and have a series of 6 screws attaching them together.

that looks great. I've been mulling over getting fender flares for mine, and then adding on fiber glass to make them connect similarly to that. Gonna save these for that project now lol

Hi Daniel , not sure if you comment was directed at me but I only wish I had a volumex (unless you have seen a recent pic of my silver spider (which unfortunaly is not a VX :( ??) I won't post here, don't want to hijack Jim's thread.
Cheers David

Hi Jim
The VX is an interesting car to drive, especially with the later rack&pinion 8)
Is this car the same as the car of Chuck Storry, or additional?

Do you know more VX's i Canada/US?
Any plans of entering the VX club?

Hi wiggo.
This was Chuck's car...I bought it from him a couple of years ago now and brought it to the West coast of Canada. I don't know of any other Volumexs in Canada or the US.

Yes I was planning to join the Volumex club, I have just never gotten around to it yet. I've had a few conversations with Uwe in Germany already.

Cheers,
Jim

It convinced me to convert my Spider to rack and pinion.
Vandor, what kind of job is that converting a spider to rack and pinion? That would be awesome. Were the results what you expected?
