There were actually two of these Alfas at the event. Very unique cars.
The Barchetta was awesome. Nobody could figure out why Fiat didn't keep making them - especially for the US Market.
My Spider is the silver one in the foreground...lots of questions about the car and a ton of interest over the "factory" sticker I had posted in the window. I think I had the only Spider with power windows and an automatic. The blue Alfa was of special interest to many people with lots of comments about the paint color.
It was great talking to the couple who owned the red 81 Spider with the gold pinstriping. They bought it new and it is all original except for the muffler. It had fewer miles than my Spider which has 41K miles. I think they said it had 39K. It was in pristine condition!
This Spider probably had the best bodywork of any Fiat at the show. Whomever did the body and paint should be commended. The British Racing Green looked amazing on the car.
This was probably my second favorite Alfa at the event.
This was my favorite Alfa at the event! This car was beautifully restored - you could almost eat off of the engine it was so clean. Again...my wife and Ron looking over the car. I think a few people were shocked at my wife's interest in the cars and knowledge. I guess it is less common than I thought, but it was great hearing her talking to a Fiat mechanic about fuel injection versus carburetion.
Very James Bond-esque and it was another beautifully maintained car. I couldn't tell if it was all original or a great restoration.
This X 1/9 had a great paint color. My wife and Ron (to the right of the car) were equally as impressed with it. Very nice!
. I wish I had known who you guys were that attended so I could have met you - hopefully next time
