Be thankful for your garages
Be thankful for your garages
Glad I got the new top on, sad that I don't have a garage. My car cover has basically disintegrated, so I need to get a new one of those. I am building a large storage shed/barn/workspace next year (I think) so maybe I can house the Fiat in there. That's Doubtful because of the other things I have waiting for the shed, but It could happen. I'd like to get my John Deere tractor down here and my two riding lawnmowers in there (tarps work OK, but not like a good storage shed would. Someday I'll figure out what to do about having a real garage.
PS For Identification reasons the fiat is the only 2wd car without ski racks on it...

oh, and in this day and age I should probably follow a joke like that with a short disclaimer about how I wouldn't really wish those things on anybody and it was all meant to be a joke (tasteless or not), so consider that my preemptive reply to anybody who thought they might finger wag and head shake in my general direction....
Dan I was in tears until I read your disclaimer. I thought you were wishing death and destruction on me or worse my Fiat! Maybe Mark can put a header on the top of the page with a disclaimer for all jokes and sarcasm contained in the site. As a Gunsmith my days of being politically correct or easily offended have long since passed. But it sure is nice watching people shovel snow on the news while I am in shorts with the A/C cranked down. We do have a cold front right now, it is supposed to not get over 81' this weekend, brrrrrr
Yea, what's up with that? I would have figured AZ or soCal would run out of water first.DMECMAnderson wrote:... No rain, no snow, no drinking water, no flushing the radiator (or the toilet), no washing the car ...
We may not have much going for us in the rust-belt but at least we've got water. Both my in-town house and property have wells.
As for garages, they are a worse habit for me than cars.
850 sq. ft. heated & 624 unheated at my house.
1120 sq. ft. soon to be heated & 1200 sq. ft. unheated at my property.

I just finished piping a wood heater in my new garage, but today we are 68 degrees!! We do get some snow here in the beautiful N.E. Ga. mountains, but a 6'' snowfall will close down the town for days! I feel for you guys not being able to take the car out for months at a time.I get the 'itch' after a few days. Craig
