door panel clips

Post by psg »

Is it worth tracking down the clips that attach the panel to the inside of the door? It doesn't appear they are in stock with any of the typical vendors. I noticed on a couple of cars used chrome screws and beauty washers. Has that become standard?

I bought the clips from AR as well $1.50 each I will use them when I redo my interior because I want the clean look.

If you look at the description it says it fits X1/9 and 124 Sedan:

The early Spider clips were similar, but made of metal, and the late ones were just round.
Not sure if these will work, if not, we will be happy to take them back.

Who/what is AR? It's late, and maybe my brain is not working well....

Edit - never mind - Auto Ricambi. d'oh. Told you it was late...
