Brake flare fittings

Post by Divers »

I am installing new hard lines this weekend. Question....with all the trouble with flares seizing and not coming back off easy...should I put some antiseaze on the flare threads? This copper based brake tubing I got from Vicks looks like an easy job for Saturday.

Thanks!

This job looks like a slam dunk. I don't have a compensator so I am going directly from the master cylinder to the braided flexline before the T. Once I complete this job, I can say that just about everything in the front suspension, steering all shocks and the entire brake system is new. WHEW!!!
