I drove over to Mark's shop today to pick up the heater core and replacement control valve (thanks Mark) and the weather was perfect! I would guess it was in the high 70's. It's a 90 mile trip each way and getting there takes you through a little pass that comes down in what they call Devil's Punchbowl. It's really an awesome area of up-thrusting rock formations, so it was a great drive. This post is specifically for those of you poor souls who don't live where winter means under 90 degrees.
I got the core and control valve installed, now while the console is off I'm trying to talk my wife into letting me have a new radio. The one that came in it is really a cheap piece of.... ah... garbage. Hoping things work out for a get together and run in January.
Trip over to see Mark
