Rear bench replacement

Post by Likuski53 »

I have heard a few places of the rear bench being changed out to a storage area, since as a seat it is fairly useless. I thought I might do that conversion to mine while rebuilding it. Just wondered if anyone had any pics of theirs already completed to get my creative juices flowing.

check with RacyDave. he is planning on doing this, and may have some research all ready to share.

daytona spyder sells a rear kit that is similar to the late model setup.

It would be neat to incorperate the stereo into this, at least boosters and speakers.

I thought DaytonaSpyder was closing up shop in December? I know he closed his eBay store due to failing health. I have sent some emails asking about the back deck as well, but haven't received a reply.

Replacing the unsightly blue rear bench in the back of my red spider appeals to me as well. I haven't had any luck finding another vendor online.

Be careful with this guy. I had to get the credit card company to reverse charges after he never delivered and stopped answering my calls. I am still out an IDF manifold that I sent him. His eBay feedback is getting worse and worse too.

we're working on a fiberglass replica of the oem back piece. I'll post as soon as it's ready. You'll still need to make a cover for the seat bottom
