im the 4th owner, the car is all original, i drove it home last night with no brakes. pedal went all the way to the floor. it was a little tricky driving like that. it has to be the slowest car that ive ever driven. but there are already different options being talked about to fix that problem. mark came by and looked at it today. we found a pretty good gas leak at the fuel pump. im going to power wash the whole thing, work on the parking brake and remove all the smog equipment and store it in a box.once i work out all the minor kinks ill install a stero that i have in the garage and start driving the little car. i think the interior of this car is so cool, looks like an 850 to me. this was as good a deal as my spider was.

Cool, I'm going to go look at another '74 X on Monday. I spoke to the owner today, he says it's complete, just been sitting in the desert for 20yrs.

Thats a nice X :-) I love these cars, they are so funny to drive, but a little small for my 6.5 body lol. But I have owned 2 of them :-).
Here in Europa is it difficult to find so old X`es. Enjoy it :-))

The pocket sized mechanic should come in handy getting to the tight spots.

umm, the mechanic does not look to be OEM, too new. Must be aftermarket.

LOL - - - looks like a great project !! Enjoy

Now you just need a red one for the little guy. Like father, like son, like grandson.

I'm sure it will be fun to drive, it looks like you need another joint in your arm to turn a wrench in there.

I thought this was a fiat SPIDER forum......just kidding
