ok so it raining outside and im traveling along at 80,. hmm water leaking thru the top bow part of the top
i do mean a small stream, so what cause this
i looked and the rubber is all great but it seeems the latch probably not pressing tight against the window frame.
so im wondering if the latch itself wears out so the tension seem to loose itself or what is happing?
as i said the rubber is great, no tears

look specifically at where it is leaking. If the leak is by the latch or in the corners, it could be the latch isnt tight enough. you can test this by puting some tape on the latch contact. look at the windshield frame where the seal sits. if you have any rust bubbles or other imperfections, you can have a source. also if you seal is old, it may look good but has lost the elasticity to hold tight against the wind. corner leaks are a whole different monster

thanks. i changed out the latch, and as i removed it it seems the screws was not tight, so i changed them out anyways and took a hose at the top of the bow and i think it ok now. always something simple that creates a mess
