F.U.N. = Fiats Up North!

Post by leeputmanjr »

An open invitation from the Chi-FLU & West Michigan FLU Chapters to join us
the weekend of October 14th - 16th for FUN 2011 for some beautiful Fall Color
Cruises along the scenic Mississippi River and the historic old river towns
along the way. This years event is being held in Galena, IL and will traverse
three states along the way. Click the link below to visit our CHI-FLU MeetUp
Calander for more information.

Registration info will follow shortly so keep the date clear to enjoy some
great times with your Fiat freinds!!!

Anyone can sign up (for free!) on our Chi-FLU site!
(We have our own little message board, we have nice sections for Member Profiles, Tech Documents, Photos, and an RSVP-able Calendar.)

Sign-up & approval is required before you can view much.

Here are photo albums from the last few FUN events:

2009:

This is a regional event that spans Friday afternoon through Sunday. Group cruise along the Mississippi, a family style Italian dinner, and lots of time to hang out with Fiat friends. If you can't make the other regional events like MOFLO or Dixie Fiat-fest, THIS ONE is the one to attend!

Hope to see y'all there!

All,

Easy On-Line Registration for FUN 2011 is now available for those who have not yet responded at the following link;

http://www.flu.org/fun

Please use the above only if you have not yet registered and paid for this event. This is a much easier way to register than the previous way so all you have to do is insert the information requested and it takes care of the rest! Of course, you still need to pay using PayPal or you can contact me for arrangements to pay via snail mail.

Don't forget to book your Hotel Room and to book the Sunday River Cruise (optional) on your own. It would also be good to let your fellow FLUster's know you are planning on coming by indicating so on our MeetUp calender for this event.

Special thanks to Jon Prisbe for help in getting this On-Line Registration site up and running for us.

So Book your Trip NOW and join us for some memorable times in your FIAT!!!

Sounds like fun.

I am about 220 mi. N of the address in Dubuque which one of your map links shows as the Motel location. Google shows it as 12 mi from Galena, but some of your info says the hotel is in Galena. I might like to attend if I can figure it all out (and get co-pilot approval!)

Much of the event is in Galena, but the hotel is across the river in Debuque. That allowed us to get a FANTASTIC rate on the hotel!

Hope to see you there!

We have extended registration through the end of September!

Looks like it's gonna be a GREAT turn-out!

MAN, what a GREAT TIME! The Beast performed flawlessly (other than a suddenly wonky main light switch), the drives along the Mississippi were GREAT, the Saturday banquet dinner was FANTASTIC, the parking lot parties were fun (though tame by FFO standards), the t-shirts are very cool, and even the welcome packets were very well thought out.

Big thanks to the co-organizers Max Bassler & Steve Muzillo
