What is the torque ft lbs for the pinion nut also should the crush sleeve be replaced also when changing the seal.

I have a leaky seal too so I've done some research into the torque settings. I have not found a definitive source for the torque. I've seen one site that say 160 ft. lbs. I've also seen "mark the nut before removing and tighten it just past that mark" from someone claiming to be in the repair business for a couple decades.
The official manual says use a new crush sleeve and tighten until the pinion turn force is between 14 and 17 in. lbs. I bought a small torque wrench and plan to go this route. It does require complete teardown of the rear axle though
