Fishing with my Fiat and the dogs

Post by majicwrench »

This summer, for the first time, my spider has become an almost daily driver, and even a fishing car. The summer here has been beautiful, and I have really, really been enjoying my car. The gentleman that owned it from 79 till 95 chased me down the other day, that was fun chatting! But anyway, the fiat and the dogs..

Yep, gotta love summer up here! We've had perfect weather over here too.
I've put almost 400 miles on mine already in just over a week since I got it going & I live less than a mile from work.

Cute dogs. How was the fishing?

We need to get your 4th hubcap situation solved too.

Well, I've been fishing for the past month - with my dog, but without my Fiat at a little RV/Marina resort on Northern Vancouver Island. We're heading home tomorrow with 3 Chinook Salmon, 2 Sockeyes, 6 Pinks and 2 nice Halibut in the freezer. All in all a pretty good haul!! I'm really looking forward to being home and spending what's left of our summer in my Spider and on the golf course. Retirement is wonderful!

You need a stock hubcap? I have 6 or 7 of the things and just need 4.

Nice pic. I love travelling with my dogs in the fiat. Because of the wind screen the golden sits in the front and the 18 and a half year old healer cross sits in the back.

Bruce, sounds a bit more successful than last year.
Janyce and I will be calling sometime the first week in Sept. I'll bring my timing light as well...never leave home without it

Fishing was good, fishing is ALWAYS good. Just a little crick a few miles from the house. Bunch of rainbows.

Hubcap, problem is the one wheel takes a diff size cap. Solution is waiting for me in Idaho with DocGraphics.

Where I'm parked in the pic is the old mill site, back in the 90's this was a roaring industrial area

The border collie rides in the back head hanging out. The yorkie is pretty content just to curl up on the front seat with a blanket.
Life is good.
