Seat from 79 fit 68 Spider?

Hi,
Will seats from a 1979 spider fit a 1968 spider? Thanks for any advice. I know they changed in 79, but will they still fit the older car?

Yes they will bolt in. The rails and their spacing is the same all through production, so early seats into late car or late seats in early car, they will bolt right in.

Great, thanks. I picked up an old pair to rebuild and cover. Seat pan on the way.

i have 68 seat in a 1980 so they will work.
