The weather certainly didn't cooperate, but we had 13 cars and 18 folks participate in a "spirited" drive in the northern Shenandoah drive sponsored by Mark and Angela, with a picnic lunch at their house afterwards.
Waiting for the last of the arrivals while seeking shelter from the rain:
There was only one no-show; a guy with a new 500! The most weatherproof Fiat on the road
The turn-around, where the last of the tops came off or came down:
That's Mark's green coupe next to Chris' sedan. Mark has no shortage of parts for his coupe!
Some guys have too much fun, with a separate workshop Here's some of the arrivals checking out his shop:
And check out his latest project
Sorry, no photos of the picnic; I was too busy sampling the great food! DC Fiats provided the burgers and dogs, and the participants brought either a side dish or dessert, depending on the model year of their car. The showers returned afterward, but couldn't dampen a great drive and fun afternoon.
Hope to see you in four weeks for my drive. Details on the website: http://dcfiats.org/events/index.html
