Perhaps an odd question ?
I have an 80, FI 2000 Spider with breather hose in the normal position running from the block mounted baffle fitting up to the intake tube above the cam boxes. Mine however has a black foam covering/ insulation, similar to that found on household aircon pipes or hot water pipes. Is this normal ?
My workshop manual pics clearly show the pipe but not this insulation, Is it something some one has added or do other cars have it also ?
I await any comments
Breather / engine fumes hose - is it normal ?

My 82 has it too, and my car is pretty original, so it sounds normal. Mine is a soft black foam rubber sleeve.
