Spider in the Jos. A. Banks Fall Catalog

Post by DUCeditor »

Some months ago I posted that my `77 Spider had been used in a photo shoot in the making of the then coming Fall Jos. A. Banks clothier catalog. Well I just got a copy and here she is, I trust well representing all our lovely cars. :)

How cool is that!
But I think the ad guys blew it. Who's going to pay any attention to the clothes?

Hmmm... perhaps when Christopher Reeve drove one in Somewhere in Time.

Definitely not when I look in the rear-view mirror.

The car is owned by a FLU member. He posted pics from the day of the shoot on one of the Fiat forums. Nice to see the details on the Spider shown so nicely.

Actually the model was sitting on a large roll of paper towels to raise up to that height. Seriously!

Great ad for Fiat. Wonder how many people will realize the car is a Fiat Spider? Just shows that some people have good taste in cars. Wow, I have a tie exactly like that. Bought it many years ago, guess it is still in style.
