Hi All

We’re seeing quite a bit about the devastating fires in South California on TV over here so I thought I’d drop by and wish all the forum members the best of luck and say we’re hoping that none of you are caught up in them. From what we’ve seen it looks pretty terrible and we’re thinking of you and hoping you all stay safe.

Thank you. It is appreciated. Ive been working near one of the fires, but it hasnt affected anyone that I personally know. Losing your house with all its contents has to be a devastating feeling. I know they already caught one guy for starting one of the fires.

Everything kind of happens in a big way here. Too many people living too close together. Have a family member on the fire line but all is well with us. Has been kind of neat watching the DC-10 water tanker go over my house, back and forth between the fire and the base @ Victorville
