You might want to move that brake line outside the u-bolt while you are in there.

On mine, I found the plate the U-bolt goes thru bends very easily and no matter how much you tighten the nuts, the bracket always loosens up. I put a couple pieces of thicker steel shim between the piece that hits the axle and the plate and no more loosening.

Have you noticed an appreciable difference with the rear bar? I'm thinking off adding one, but my car bites so well into tight turns now, that I can't imagine what more it could do for it. :?

Where the front forged (flatened) ends of the bar attach to the frame, are there already holes in the frame, or did you have to drill them? Are they held to the frame with just cinching bolts, or do you have to blindly reach up and in and fasten a nut?
Thanks!

Check out these links for the instruction sheet and diagram. You have to drill two holes and slip a u-bolt inside the frame. The end-link bracket attaches to the ends of the u-bolt.

There are also a bunch of photos of my bar there.

yes it goes just like the links show

to locate i had to fully asemble the sway bar kit and mark it
then remove parts of it drill then reasemble it

all and all id rather buy the bigger front sway than the rear

"all and all id rather buy the bigger front sway than the rear"

Not if you knew what was involved to mount it, and some of the resulting problems.

I have one in the front. I don't remember ever having it put on so I can only assume it came with it, and I'm the original owner. :? So does that negate any effect adding a rear one might have?

SanRafael, you are likely talking about the stock front sway bar. Here is a write up on adding an aftermarket bigger front sway bar: http://www.ovingtonpaint.com/fiat/id4.html
