Twins: with different tastes.

Post by rlux4 »

My twin brother Don (yes, we were Donnie and Ronnie) just dropped a crate engine in his 72 Vette. He stayed with the 350 but got about 50 more HP with this engine. It's fast, but he admits if we're on some real windy roads my Fiat would give him a run for his money.
We finally got around to getting a picture of the both of us with our cars.

We both say we'd stay with the car we own over the other.

Nice pic, nice cars, it is fun to do some wrenching with your bro. My brother and I have been working on a 78 WS6 tans Am in Martinique Blue. It's and awesome looking machine-takes me back to high school and makes me want to grow a mullet...in a good way : ) PB

My twin brother and I have similar tastes. We both have 79 spiders. We also work one aisle apart at IBM.

How cool is that Bob. Don's always had a vette, his first was a 64 convertible. We never worked together until the last few years. I get a kick out of when we show up on a job and get a look, and then asked "are you guys related?"

Denise - what's going on with all these questions/comments about twin brothers lately? First it was Csaba's twin at the FFO, and now again today? So what's better? Twin brothers with different cars, or brothers with exactly the same (twin) cars?

BTW - great cars and a great photo. Thanks for sharing.

No Denise, he's not. He's nice enough, I guess, but it would be a stretch to say he's as nice as me.
But seriously , if we have a dificullt customer it is me that deals with it. He just doesn't have as much patience.
(When we were young even our parents had trouble telling us apart!)
