Hello-
I'm about to embark on changing out my interior from baby blue to tan... The consoles door panels etc I'm going to buy after market but I'm struggling with the seats..
Do I buy slip covers from IAP but then have to take the frames out and get them reinforced due to the "fiat lean"....
or
I've looked at the Procar Rally seats that other have installed...BUT what to do with the back seat? Do you dye it?
Ideas/thoughts please.

replacing seats or covering?
Re: replacing seats or covering?
Dye it. Go to and auto body supply shop if you can, get higher end SEM brand or something similar from them. Buy the matching prep spray, it makes a big difference. Was the seat really thoroughly with dish soap then with what ever they dye supplier recommends. With a back seat and pro quality products that are just a couple bucks more you can do a good job. SEM makes a lot of tans, you'll find a good match. I did mine in black over the years I just occaisionally toughed up a spot here or there on the dye. PB
Re: replacing seats or covering?
Here's pic of my interior that I did with the SEM vinyl paint. I found that their Camel color matched my boot which was still the original color while the seats and door panels had faded to a taupe color. Washed and dried them, then applied a bonding agent, then the paint.

I did the IAP seat covers. I was pleased for the most part, but I did sew in a full length velcro closure at the bottom of the seat back.
