1974 Fiat Marino?

Post by launieg »

Okay, I have done my web search, and what the heck is a Fiat Marino (1974)? I wish this guy (not too far from here) posted a photo. I have a call in to him, but I'm feeling kind of stupid about what a Marino is.

Try google and search Fiat Marino pictures. Leave out the year. It may give you what you are looking for.

Since he says 124, I'm going to assume he doesn't know what he is talking about and it's a bad attempt at "pininfarina"

Well, I phoned him and he says it is a special "made in Italy" model! I asked him where he saw the name and he says it is on the engine or firewall, so I'm puzzled.

I suspect he does not know what he is talking about. The only Web reference I could fine is a fiat-marino that was a race car - way back. I might take a look if I am over his way. Thanks everyone who tried to help.

It's got to be a 126 or Niki based 'Jolly' or the 'jeep' version of the 126

Ask where is the engine front or back ?

The special cars are named after an old Italian race car driver Marino Brandoli so search for that.
Guessing he hade something to do with some of the design on that car you looking at.

Nope, it's blue. I should have gone to see it, because I think it is gone now. But it most certainly was a spider, from what could determine in conversation with him. I hope I did not miss something special  Darn! Teach me not to run over and check it out.
