Good price for top? any experience?
Good price for top? any experience?
This price is almost too good to pass up. I need a top, my car isn't top end, nor will it ever be.
I have two requirements for my top:
1. It has to fit .
2. It has to keep the inside dry when it rains.
tell me anything you can about this dealer/top

FWIW it looks like an Electron box. I just bought one (for considerably more) and would love to know if it is. If it is Electron then the fit is just fine, it's easy to install. The only complaint I have is they shorted the material that goes under and inside the front bow, leaving some of the old metal exposed. But I drive top up maybe 1 time for every 100, so it isn't a big deal. Tops are for garages and rain showers.

Top arrived a few days ago, looks very nice. I'm glad I got the Buckskin color, it seems to be a pretty darn close match to the interior color.
It's been kinda rain-ee here the last week or so, but I should have some good weather now to try to put it on. How hard is this going to be? What tools will I need? I'll check Mira and the other sites to see if anyone has done an instructional on it. I know the FSM has some stuff, so maybe that will help a little.
I'll keep you all posted with fit and quality.

I'm assuming the old front bow is ok. Everything on the old top works quite well mechanically and latches perfectly and snuggly. the top really only has a couple of issues.mbouse wrote:for another slant, IAP has its own instructions on a download.
did you take your old top off yet?
best to know if you need a new front bow before you set it outside and yank the old top off.
1. the back window is totally out
2. the "ribs" are not secured underneath, so they have to be pushed into place when you pull the top up.
