I did the exact thing when my kids were that age, adding my own seat belts for them. In fact my driveway looked almost like your photo. Had a 80 Dodge Colt just like in your picture.ventura ace wrote:
Whether it was a seat or not, the early 124 spiders could accomodate 3 seat belts and hold 3 little tykes pretty well (including 1 child safety seat and 1 child safety booster), even with the top folded down. There is even more room in the back with the top up. Our kids enjoyed the cramped ride back there for several years.

I have a 78 spider and it came with a seat belt for the back seat, its on the passenger side and matches the front seat belts, my corgi's love to ride in the back.
