Wow Mike, great picture. Neat seeing your Spider all wound up, and in the rain. Back end looks planted to me.

Love the driving lights. Are they on the bumper or set into the grill. I looked around for other pics of your Spider but couldn't find any.

I'd like to get the round driving lights (Cibie/Halla?) that fit into the corners of the grill.

Doug, The driving lamps are bumper bracket mounted on the inner bolt with custom brackets which partially recess them into the grille aperture. The lamps themsleves are (shhhhhh! say it quietly) BMW Mini, nice and small and a convenient shape at the back so as to give clearance with the hood 'overbite' when it is open, but very bright and effective, wired via a relay with the main beam as the 'trigger'.

It's one way of filling that gap between the Federal bumper and the car body!
