So I go and pick up my Spider from my Fiat repair guy. He installed a 4- 2 - 1 exhaust and a new ANSA dual tip to replace the old small muffler and original (78) exahust. It looks and sounds great. After I got the car I swung by my office for a few minutes before bringing car home. Its 93 degrees out with 90% humidity and suspose to rain this afternoon not Spider freindly weather. I leave the office hit the on ramp to the bridge which turns into a nice 3 mile straight away. I was just about to punch it when I notice the car was not handling good. Then I started to smell burning rubber. My front tire was flat.
I was 5 miles from home on a bridge with nothing close by to walk to. My work cell was in my other car. It seems that my regular cell phone did not take a charge last night so it died while I was telling my wife I was broken down While walking to the trunk I remebered the 4 way lug wrench was at home.
Luckily a police officer pulled up and called a tow truck. So another 100 bucks later I got the car home but have not been able to really drive the car.
How is this for a bad day

Thanks for the positive fiat inspiration. Actually right after the car came off the flat bed. I removed the 2 front tires and rims and put on the old tires and rims. I am glad I kept them. I did take it around the block. It was a short trip becasue it was so hot out and my black seats had been cooking in the sun for a few hours. Maybve when the sun goes down I will take it for a real drive. If its not raining.
