FYI:Breakfast w/Laura Soave(FIAT N.AM. CEO)on Detroit c-list

Post by fine79 »

I thought one of us "long time" Fiat fans would be interested in this item found in the Detroit Craigslist (IF it is legit, of course):
"Private Breakfast Ticket with the CEO of FIAT - $280 (Detroit Metro)
... CEO is: Laura Soave "
http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/tix/2396183185.html

She's the "Head of the Fiat Brand for North America"

(I have no connection with this posting, and don't know anything else - respond to it at your own risk!)

If anyone does pick this up, please ask her when we'll see a new Spider in the US ! :D

For the hand full of people still living in Metro Detroit $280 is a lot of money.

So true...
One of our clubs could buy it and turn it into a group meeting - only several dollars a person!

I live in Detroit and I am very active in the Detroit chapter of F.L.U and I never heard anything come accross to us for a breakfast ? it maybe real but i dont think so. and your right $280 is a lot of money for any one still left here. and for that money I could eat a breakfast special at almost any little dive dinner, for 56 days and get 2 eggs, meat, hashbrowns toast, and coffee. :D and the saying is in Detroit "last one left, turn the lights off".

I just finished paying for it and should be recieving this "certificate" in a couple of days :D hopefully this does not turn out to be a scam  i'll be sure to have all my questions ready and hopefully have a good time. The guy i bought it from said that it's a certificate and i call the number on it and then book the day that works best for both of us :? like i said, HOPEfully all works out. if it turns out to be a scam i have his email, phone number, and adress, so he better watch his back  do you have any requests on questions to ask the ceo, or any good topics i should bring up?

The certificate arrived and we're just in the process of deciding on a date that will work best for laura, my mom and I :) Her secretary said it will be in birmingham michigan at a pancake house, but that''s really all that's known up to this point :| Hopefully this week will we settle on a date, but her secretary said that most likely it will have to happen in the begining of august :) I'll keep u updated as plans progress

That should be a fun breakfast. The only question I can suggest is:
Will there be an Abarth version of the 500c in the near term? If not, then I think we'll be looking hard at the 500c Pop. Please do keep us posted!
