Har-har-har.... Here in Cow Country I have no issues finding great two lane drives.
My problem is that I own all of the running Fiats in the county; i also own half of the non-running Fiats in the same county. I have to drive a couple of hours to find like minded individuals to do any cruisin' with a group.
Great place to raise kids, but it can get lonely out here.

I live near/on the Mississippi river, so that makes for some beautiful winding roads through some really nice leaves in the fall and some nice views of the river at times. In the river valley there are quite a bit more bluffs and rolling hills than further out into the plains.
here are some pictures/info of the Scenic River drive they have annually here: http://www.mississippiriverdrive.com/ the leaves haven't turned yet, so I'm not sure why they did this so early....
this is a good drive too: http://www.spoonriverdrive.org/
both of these things are scenic drives with lots of things to do along the drives, city wide yard sales, car shows, tractor and engine shows, the list goes on and on.

Well, I stand corrected. Apologies to all you flatland people out there! I didn't venture off of I-40 on my trip to Texas and the only mountains I drove in were through eastern TN and western NC. Those roads caused me to pucker up and white knuckle drive when forced to pass slow moving semis with my dually and trailer, especially when both shoulders were closed due to roadwork! I must admit, the scenes were beautiful through TN and AR and the roads were perfect for good fuel mileage.
