Ok, here's mine. Now to stat off with, way back in the day I had a '74. Loved it. Had one of those quaint "bag" washer fluid resevoir.

Fastforward about 20 years (not nessisarily smarter, mind), bought me a newer model, an '81.
Noticed the "overflow resevoir" for the "coolant" was empty, so I topped up with some coolant.

Hey!!! in the 81's they don't have a bag for the windshield waser fluid, so where am I supposed to... oh, no!. Year ago, still in there, too.

Installed the magnet in the distributor backwards and took a week to figure it out! BTW, runs like crap when you do that.

20 years ago a mechanic paid me to drive 400 miles to myrtle beach, paid my hotel bill, fuel and $200.00 for my time to help him figure out why this fiat he worked on for 4 weeks would not start. this guy was a ferrari mechanic. took me all of 2 minutes when i got there to notice the magnet was upside down in the distributor. gotta love it
