Height at rear wheel well?

What is the distance from the ground to the top of the wheel well opening in the rear of your Spider? It seems my 80 is awefully high in the back. It's a full inch higher than my 79.

are you running gas shocks on the high car. that alone will raise the car an inch.

The prior owner installed the rebuilt differential and the new shocks. They're unlabeled so without removing them, it would be hard to tell. Gas shocks could explain it because it is at 27 1/2 inches. It looks WAY too high. My '79 is at 25 inches too.
