I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!

My hazard light button kept popping out so instead of replacing it I superglued it back in. Glad I never needed them. Hazard lights are an important feature on spiders.

Redid the entire Exhaust system with 2.25" pipe straight through to the muffler and installed a new stereo system with an Aux in jac and USB port for the kids to listen to thier music. Well, the exhaust sounds good!
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!

Number 2 on the list was to put a polyester bag (actually the souvenir bag from FFO '08) over the holes in the shock tower and crossmember to prevent nuts, bolts. tools etc. from falling into "the abyss" and then starting the car.
Number 1 was instinctively grabbing the burning bag to try to remove it.
The burns have healed but some of the sticky melted remnants still remain on the car's fenderwell as a reminder not to do that again!

I was turning my engine with a ratchet and socket on the crank nut. Got everything dialed in and went to start the car.
BANG!. The ratchet handle came around, hit the frame rail and spun the crank nut right off. I got lucky it didn't hit the radiator.

Might be?
Hey, it's the (not recommended) easy way to get the crank nut off.

Installed the magnet in the distributor backwards and took a week to figure it out! BTW, runs like crap when you do that.

Installed great looking quality speakers in the door panels. I was so proud of the look and the sound until I tried to roll up the windows. The handle hits the new speaker cover, Duh. Does anyone have offset window cranks?
Re: New Board Topic "Dumb Things I've Done"
eddy,
Now that's funny, and sounds exactly like something I'd do.
You took all the time and patience to do the job just right, and everything came together, and then.....
Let's see, how about installing power windows? Or shaft extenders for the window cranks? No that's not going to work. Just leave the windows down.
