Bruce's Parts Bin
Bruce's Parts Bin
I have sent a couple of emails to this trader after finding their catalouge on the net, but have not had a reply.
Can anyone tell me if they are still in busieness ? ( I see their website dates show 2008 as the last edit )

Re: Bruce's Parts Bin
I stopped in there along one of my many trips down the turnpike last summer or autumn. He was still in business then. Try both email and phone. He does not have a "formal" setup like IAP or others - pretty much a man and his Fiat parts, all in a warehouse space.

I haven't received one of his newsletters in quite some time. I used to get them regularly.

Re: Bruce's Parts Bin
I just called them and the phone was answered "Bruce's how may i help you"
So I am guessing they are still open for business.

Re: Bruce's Parts Bin
Just as an update, I still have not heard back from these people and have had to source parts from elsewhere.
Re: Bruce's Parts Bin
That's not the Bruce I know.. (and I know him from before he bought the Bin from Lafferty). I wonder what is up? I know he gets busy, but he is usually right on the money with phone and email
Re: Bruce's Parts Bin
Here we are nearly a year later and I am having the same problem getting a hold of anyone there. Sent two e-mails and left a phone message. I have about $500+ worth of stuff I'd like to order, too.Mad-Machine wrote:That's not the Bruce I know.. (and I know him from before he bought the Bin from Lafferty). I wonder what is up? Re: Bruce's Parts Bin
I made another call after I posted this. Got the answering machine again. But in defense, it was probably about 7:00PM Eastern time. I faxed in a request. Let's see if it gets responded to.124cso wrote:And I still haave not had a reply. Given up long ago but still need a dist cap.

Don't know what the current deal is with Bruce. I have also used these guys here in NJ. Ask for Scott and tell him NJFIATS sent you. They stock mechanical parts for the Fiat. No body panels or interior parts.

Re: Bruce's Parts Bin
He used to attend the Freakouts every year with a booth setup. Last time I remember seeing him was back in 2002 or 2003 in Asheville and haven't seen him since. I didn't even see him at the 2009 show in Philly which I figured he would have attended being New Jersey is right next door.spidernut wrote:I haven't received one of his newsletters in quite some time. Re: Bruce's Parts Bin
Bruce is part time now. You can still get to him but you have to keep trying. He has never let me down for a part once you make contact. I have found the phone to be the best way, usually after 10:00 in the morning. If you are in a hurry, then I would try one of the other venders as they hve full time staff support. Bruce as far as I know isa one man show. FUN INPORTED is also a good source. Danny is also a one man operation but is there every day unless he is at one of the shows.
