door interchangeablility

I have an 84 pininfarina model, and I was preparing to have the doors metal patched, and in the meantime I found a guy who has a rust free door of unknown year. Does it matter which year the door is for my car?

One major difference (if there aren't any other smaller ones) is the outuer door handle.
I can't rmember when they changed it but at least from 79 onwards the outer door handles are all the same.
