This Sunday's NY Times auto section a reporter takes a 500 on a long tour of USA cities with Italian names. He sure likes it.

Being from NJ he cracked me up when he referred to our NJ Turnpike as "Dante's autobahn". (Although correctly he should have said "autostrada".) Verona NJ is just a couple towns away from my home town. Back in the day we often visited the Verona White Castle in my 72 Spider.
Home of the original Sliders, and aptly named, long before sliders became gourmet appetizers in fancy resturants.
