I got the dash done, radio installed, upper and lower consoles installed, cigarette lighter circuit figured out, courtesy light and door switches wired back to original specs and working, all the gauges working, the warning lights working, the bad splice jobs fixed, solderless splice connectors removed and taped, relay panel and computer module cleaned up, etc., and everything was working just as it should again and looks awesome!

And then....the electronic fuel pump went out. GRRRRRR! Now I have to check the circuit for power and determine if it is the pump or the wiring.

Since the car isn't going anywhere soon, I also decided to check the magnetic pickup since I hadn't done so yet. Both wires are completely missing almost 1 inch of the insulation on the inside of the distributor where it enters the distributor...Now there's a recipe for disaster!

One step at a time I guess...thank the Lord I bought the 80 Spider as a hobby...not a commuter car. Each repair teaches me that much more about how these cars tick.
