Anyone have a picture of the barrel where the cigarette lighter light plugs in? I have the rectangular piece that attaches to the lighter, but isn't there a round metal barrel that the light bulb slides into, then the round barrel slides into the rectangular part of the lighter?
Also, anyone have a picture of where the red positive terminal for the lighter connects? The wiring on my 80 Spider was all hanging loose and un-labeled.

Re: Cigarette Lighter light
Hi Spidernut,
I can help you, I have three lighters on my work bench and the console out.
I just got the wiring figured out. But I'm not sure I can get pictures for you tonight, but I can tomorrow.
Mine is out of a 76 so I hope its not different too from yours.
On mine the light bulb rests in a little 3 sided rectangular box, with tabs by the open end. Its about an inch and half or 2 inches long. The tabs attach the "box" to the round lighter holder.
On mine the yellow wire comes out of the light bulb and the red wire is the hot for the lighter. A ground wire attaches with a spade to the side of the holder. You will need a tester to figure out the wiring. It took me a while to get them worked out, ligher, courtesy light (two grounds, one for the door switches, one for the on/off and a common power), the radio and so forth.
The wiring diagram was a big help, even though the wire colors are entirely different. I have a 76 diagram but my car is very early 76 and may have a 75 harness (who knows) and there are no decent 75 diagrams that I can find.
