rubber inserts for the side mouldings on an 81
I have started my next project car and am looking for for a source for the above. Tan or paintable. Any ideas? THANKS!

Where are these moldings you refer to?
The original cars didn't come from the factory with them, they were added by dealers to the best of my knowledge.
The image at the top of the page shows some but those are not OE from the factory.
Unless you need them I would remove them.

Thanks for the reply. That they were not OE on Spider 2000s Fuel-injected models surprises me....because my restored 1980 has them, the three 1981s that I plan to restore this Summer and Fall have them as does my 1979 2000 FI, but neither my 1977, 1978 or my 1979 carbuerated (nor did any of my older parts cars) do. I actually like the look and hence am looking for the rubber inserts to match the interior of each car. Anyone else?
