swap stories, share tips, showing our passion for these wonderful
automobiles. The FFO is four days of events that include a concours
car show, coordinated scenic drives to historic places and lots of
socializing. The FFO is not just about show cars; it is a great
opportunity to talk to knowledgeable people and vendor sponsors
about your vehicle. You must be a current member of Fiat Lancia

in Fiat Freak Out. Membership is available online at http://www.flu.org for

includes a private balcony. FLU has allocated half of its capacity, but
demand has been strong with all the new Fiat 500 owners coming on
board and a strong commitment from Fiat North America to be at this
year’s show . Be advised that this will be a popular event so be sure

to get your reservation in! Room reservations are available by calling
1-615-885-2200 (and indicating you are with FLU) or clicking:

Saturday, July 23rd, 4 PM to 6 PM, Pre-banquet selling time

Sunday, July 24th, 8 AM to 9 AM, Pre-breakfast meal selling time

The vendor selling area is an indoor, air conditioned; secure exhibit
location near the event registration. The vendor area is not only near
the registration area but right in the middle of the action. The FLU
store will be in the same room as the vendors. After members pickup
their packets they will simply walk over to the vendor area to get
ordered event T-shirts. FLU vendors will be close to all hotel activity
venues like the Friday Welcome Back Fiat celebration party, Saturday
night awards banquet and Sunday raffle prize breakfast. This year the
FFO11 car wash station is located on the side of the Sheraton near
the indoor pool and exercise room. A vacuum will also be provided.
The car wash station will be open 24-7 starting on Thursday and will
stay open through Sunday afternoon.

FFO11 Program of Events

Registration: The Fiat Freak Out registration kiosk is located inside the hotel,
not far from the main entrance. Pickup your FFO11 packet at registration. The
packet includes your nametag, show car ID tag with integrated meal tickets.

FFO T-shirt vouchers, goodies and sponsor literature.

This year your individual name tag is very important! The new design includes all
of your pre-paid meal and event passes required for your entire weekend, except
T shirt vouchers. No more searching for individual tickets or remembering what
passes you may have accidentally left in your room or car! Your show car ID tag
goes on the lower left corner of the inside windshield and should be in place for
the entire weekend. The nametag and the car ID tag will make everything easier!
Be sure to put them on as soon as you get your registration packet. The back of

the nametag will include a summary of all activities and special information in
case you need any assistance while at FFO. Be sure to get your photo taken too
after you pickup your packet! Remember that if you are booked for a room
starting on Thursday, your room may not be available for check in until after 4
PM. Room “check in” time is 4 PM; “check out” time is 11AM.

Jack Daniel’s Distillery Tour with lunch at Miss Mary Bobo’s: The FFO11
Welcome Back Fiat celebration kicks off with a wonderful, historic tour to a pair of
unique destinations on Thursday morning! The first event will be a drive to the
Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg (http://www.jackdaniels.com), about 75 miles
south of Nashville. We will leave from the Sheraton Music City by 9:15 AM with
two groups departing one after the other. The Jack Daniels facility tour is free
and the tour takes about an hour. People come from all over the world to see the
special process Mr. Jack Daniel perfected in 1866. Group 1 will drive directly to
the Jack Daniels facility. Meanwhile, Group 2 will first visit Miss Mary Bobo’s
boarding house for the first lunch seating of the day. Miss Mary Bobo’s is the
perfect way to get into a southern frame of mind for the weekend. Enjoy some of
the best home made southern cookin that will take you back to another time and
place. While group 1 takes the JD tour, group 2 will take lunch. The lunch is
home-style and the tip is included in your ticket price. You will definitely get your
money’s worth and an unforgettable meal. Both groups will switch places and
then everyone will meet back at Mary Bobo’s parking lot and saddle up for the
drive back to the Sheraton starting around 3 PM.

FLU Store and vendors open at 4 PM Thursday, July 21st! Registration will
open for the 2nd time of the day on Thursday starting at 4 PM and runs through

8 PM at the hotel. Buy FLU Wares, visit vendors and get ready for the weekend.

Thursday’s Nashville Night on the town starts at 6 PM! FLU has traveled to
a lot of wonderful places, but here’s your chance to fall in love with downtown
Nashville! The is so much to see and do; The Country Music Hall of Fame, Grand
Ole Opry, The Cadillac Ranch, B.B. King’s tavern plus dozens of famous and
infamous Honky Tonks and even karaoke joints lining Music Row. Perhaps you’ll
be discovered! A map is in your packet.

Friday, July 22nd

Lunch and Lane Motor Museum (pre-registered meal): The Lane Motor
Museum, Unique Cars from A to Z! Jeff Lane and the team at the Lane Motor
Museum have the most breathtaking collection of European cars on the face of
the Earth, and it’s all right here in Nashville! Opened in 2003, the Lane collection
preserves and documents the largest European collection of cars and
motorcycles in North America. There are over 150 cars on display from Aero to
Zil. And yes, just about every car actually runs and is driven periodically. The
year Jeff Lane and company has a wonderful Fiat marque timeline display to
illustrate heritage of our beloved brand. Get a preview at
http://www.lanemotormusuum.org. The museum is only 10 minutes from the hotel.

The admission ticket price includes a catered lunch especially for FFO attendees.
The fun starts at 10 AM. Lunch is provided by Whitts BBQ in Nashville at Noon,
the museum tour goes until 2 PM.

Friday Afternoon Drive!

After our tour and lunch at Lane we’ll head out to see a few of the sights in the
Nashville area starting at 2 PM. Scheduled stops include the Dukes of Hazzard
TV show Museum (ask for Daisy) & the Willie Nelson Museum. The drive is free.

Friday Night Welcome Back Fiat Party on the Patio (Pre-registered meal):
The Fiat FreakOut proudly welcomes Fiat back to North America with a huge
party at the Sheraton pool / patio area starting at 6 PM! Complimentary beer and
wine will be provided from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. The dinner buffet starts at 7 PM.

This year we will have a marvelous, world famous guest speaker named Phil
Wicks. Listing Phil’s credentials from the past 50 years would take several pages
to list. Phil runs the Mini driving school, online at http://www.minidriving.com/

Phil has trained thousands of drivers to get the most out of their car, but that’s
just what he has been doing lately. Remember “The Italian Job” movie from
1969; shown every year at FreakOut? Phil was the actual stunt driver in the lead
getaway car… the red Mini! Yes, that’s right, Phil has done it all and we are very
pleased to have him speak to our group! It’s going to be fantastic! Phil will take
the podium at 8 PM.

Friday Night “Drive-in” Kids movie: After dinner, our young FLU members will
enjoy their own movie to be shown in the meeting hall at the hotel. The classic
movie “Cars” by Pixar (starring a cute little Fiat 500 named Luigi) will be shown
starting at 8:00 PM. Kids will be served snacks, fruit, water & juice boxes as a
treat. A babysitter will be provided, but tipping the sitter is strongly encouraged.
Parents will be asked to sign in their child and provide a cell & room number just
in case. Last year the kids had a ball and the parents had some quality time to
watch the drive in movie with all the adults.

Friday Night “Drive in Movie”:

Phil will introduce FLU’s traditional movie “The Italian Job”, shown on the big
outdoors in our own dedicated parking lot at the Sheraton Music City hotel! After
dinner when the sun sets, FLU members will enjoy a real traditional “Drive-in”
movie to be projected on a huge outdoor screen. FLUsters may sit in their car,
lawn chairs or on blankets as the classic 1969 movie is shown, just like the good
old days! During the movie, classic and contemporary Fiat commercials will run
at intervals just like a TV movie at home. This is going to be one of the best times
you will ever experience at a drive in movie. (OK, perhaps the second best time
you ever had at a drive in movie!) We’ll park the cars facing the screen and the
movie will broadcast sound on the radio so your car will pickup the sound. Our
feature movie will have a few surprises during the show so be sure to be there.
The movie is free starting at 9:30 PM. Phil is be driving the red Mini getaway car!

Saturday Concours at the Parthenon! What an architectural treat we have in
store for our 2011 FFO Concours field, just minutes from our hotel in downtown
Nashville. The Nashville Parthenon was built nearly 100 years ago and is an
exact scale replica of the original built by the Greeks in 447 to 438 BC. The
Nashville Parthenon was originally built as the centerpiece of the Tennessee
Centennial Exposition of 1897 to celebrate 100 years of statehood. FLU will be
using the Parthenon as a backdrop for yet another spectacular panoramic photo
by Jean Paul Harris. Your Italian car must be pre-registered to be on the field!
Hotel departure is at 9:30 AM!

We can’t have a car show without food! The foundations for Pizza were originally
laid by the early Greeks who first baked large, round and flat breads and
“anointed them with oil, herbs, spices and dates. Tomatos were added by the
Italians in the 18th century, thank goodness! To honor the Greeks and Italians,
pizza is on the menu for our concours catered by Manny’s Pizza in Nashville!

Saturday Concours Car Show Individual Car Photos at the Parthenon:

John Adams of The Shutter Group (http://www.shuttergroup.com) will take a photo of
you in your car near the entrance of the Parthenon. Be sure that your window
sticker is visible to the camera so we can identify your car for awards at the
Saturday night banquet later that evening. You are not obligated to buy a photo.
Please be patient as it takes about 15 seconds to photograph each car. Show
cars will park according to class designation (A, B, C, D, etc…) for easy judging.
Each show car registration entitles the holder to one Concours ballot/People’s
Choice Ballot. If you do not register a car, you cannot vote except for People’s
Choice. Concours Ballots are provided for the selection of 1st, 2nd and 3rd for all
classes. Select your choice by the class and car number (i.e. A-11, B-3, C-6,
etc...). Your ballot must be turned in by 2 PM at the FLU box at the Parthenon.
Only Fiat or Lancia vehicles are eligible for “BEST OF SHOW”.

Non-concours and support cars may park in the unreserved area of the
Parthenon paved parking lot.

Saturday Afternoon Drive: An “alfresco” afternoon concours deserves an
“alfresco” drive to cool off after the big car show. We’ll take the long way home
after the show and arrive back at the hotel in plenty of time for the cocktail hour
reception starting at 6 PM with the banquet dinner to follow at 7 PM in the
Sheraton Ballroom.

FFO11 Awards Banquet! (pre-registered meal): Saturday night at FreakOut
means something very special is going to happen and FFO11 will be no
exception! Stay tuned for a very special guest speaker to address the FLU
membership! Our traditional FFO Banquet will start at 6 PM with a cocktail
reception at the Sheraton Ballroom. We have also arranged for a babysitter to
take care of the young children during the evening starting at 6PM. The
wonderful all you can eat buffet dinner starts at 7 PM. This fun filled evening
(dressy casual attire) gets underway with our traditional trivia contest. Compete
with other tables for bragging rights and prizes. During the cocktail hour and

dinner, silent auction goods will be on display and available for bidding. High
bidders will be announced after dinner. Jean Paul Harris will have a proof copy of
the spectacular FFO panoramic photograph from the Parthenon and Jon Adams
will have individual car photos from the concours venue. We’ll announce all the
concours winners and recognize the owners of the best cars.

Saturday Night FFO11 Parking lot: The hallmark of any FFO is quality parking
lot time late in the evening. We’ll be out there after the banquet, just hanging out
and talking Fiats! What could be better? Relax, let your hair down and take the
time to wind down. The evening is all yours!

Sunday Breakfast/ Raffle Awards(pre-registered meal): After the big day on
Saturday, sit down to a delicious breakfast buffet starting at 9 AM at the Sheraton
Ballroom, just a few steps from your hotel room. The traditional breakfast buffet includes
your favorites, plus plenty of hot coffee after that quality late night parking lot social time.
We’ll call out the raffle ticket numbers, make special announcements. This year’s
fabulous grand prize is a brand new set of Borrani Wheels donated by Borrani to fit a
new Fiat 500! WOW!! Vendors may be open from 8 AM to 9 AM just to give you some
end of show bargains and special deals.

Hermitage Sunday Drive: Andrew Jackson became our 7th President of the United
States in 1829, over 30 years before the civil war. Life in America during that era was far
certainly another time and place. Yet we’ll take our Fiats anywhere, even to another era!
Join us for a beautiful Sunday drive after breakfast to the Hermitage, the historic home of
our 7 the President. The nominal admission adult price is $17 adult, $7 for children up to
12 years old, pay at the door. There is a discount for seniors, teens and small children.
The Jackson Mansion is only 15 miles from the hotel so you can still join in and have
plenty of time to get on the road for home. More info at http://www.thehermitage.com

FFO11 closeout dinner gathering: We’ll close out FFO weekend at a special
gathering place in downtown Nashville where we can savor the wonderful flavor of
Nashville one last time before the journey home. Remember FLU hotel rates are good
Sunday and even Monday night following the event weekend. Relax and enjoy the city
and the company of the remaining FLUsters. Dinner location TBA.

Event Highlights:

Helle’ Nice Foundation Award: The Helle’ Nice Award recognizes the FLU woman
who most exemplifies the spirit and dedication to Italian Motoring. This individual will be
selected from the club membership family by Sheryl Greene of the Helle’ Nice
Foundation. Proceeds from a special auction will support the Helle’ Nice foundation.
http://hellenicefoundation.blogspot.com/

Official FFO11 Dash Plaques: This year all member registration packets will include
a metal dash plaque for each car registered. The dash plaque will feature the FFO11
color logo and the color logo of the sponsor.

Official FFO11 T-Shirts: FLU will be selling FFO11 28th Anniversary T-shirts for $20
each. The shirts will feature the FFO11 logo on the front, and a large color graphic

design on the back which features the event theme. You may pre-order T shirts with
your event registration.

Car Wash Station: The Fiat Freak Out car wash station will be open 24-7 throughout
the weekend. The wash station will provide water, soaps, a vacuum, towels, detailing
and other car care products for member use all weekend.

Raffle Prizes & Silent Auction: This year vendors (and even members) may donate
raffle prizes for the event. Raffle ticket sales are a key element of helping FLU break
even on the event since meals and events are sold to members a few percent above
actual cost. This year the raffle prizes will be given away at the Sunday breakfast. Prizes
will be announced on the PA system before ticket number is called.

Vendors and even members may display merchandise at the Saturday Banquet, setting
you minimum reserve price. All items should be marked with your company or individual
name and registered prior to the auction. Your minimum up to the reserve price you
establish will be returned to you by FLU. Any amounts bid above the reserve go to
support the event. The silent auction allows product to be shown and sold without
donating the entire value of the product. Silent auction winners will be announced after
bids close at 9 PM at the Saturday banquet. Auction and raffle prizes for the show may
be shipped after 7/10/11 to Fiat Lancia Unlimited – Fiat Freak Out (July 21-24, 2011),

C/o Sheraton Music City Hotel, 777 McGavock Pike, Nashville, TN 37214 USA.

Contact Denise Burchette (spyderlady71@yahoo.com) or John Montgomery
