Encouraging Trend!

Post by kmac33 »

I am happy to report that here in Georgia, there seems to be an increase in Spiders hitting the road. At least I am spotting them with increasing frequency. There is a very nice green, pre-75 and an all original blue 82 that I see pretty regularly around work - followed the 82 a few months back and encouraged the owner to join the forum.
This weekend I actually saw 2 Spiders on the road. A very nice red one with tan interior, luggage rack, original chrome hub caps, big bumpers - so I'm guessing it was a 75-77. Saw this one in Conyers, Ga. - Does this belong to a forum member?
And then saw a beige one, looked like an early 80's going the opposite direction down HWY 78 near Stone Mountain.

I hope that others are seeing the same "trend" in other parts of the country. I would love to think that more Spiders are being put back into service :D

Brady,
Used to live and work in Conyers. We were there this weekend for my son's soccer. I'd love to find out who owns the Spider I saw there. It looked like it was very well cared for.

Seeing more spiders on the road?
After months of snow, sand and salt I am happy just being able to see the road again!

Craig,
What a coincidence! I saw the same black Spider yesterday. It was being towed by a maniacle looking fellow that looked to me like a typical "addiction enabler"
Paul was really psyched when he saw the car - it's gonna make a great Lemons car!
