Anybody here used this welder? I need a new welder to do my floors, and a few other repairs to the '69.

After recently taking a welding class, I would not buy a flux core welder. Too much smoke and mess. I have a small Lincoln 120V GMAW (gas-metal arc welder) that does a very nice job. You have to buy the argon but it is well worth it. Something like this:

I’m with 2ndwind, you don’t want the mess and after you buy the tank for the argon the gas is cheaper than the flux core wire and as far as welders go you get what you pay for.
