Turbo manifold interest
Turbo manifold interest
I contacted Mark at Allisons Motors, http://www.allisonsautomotive.com/ about creating turbo exhaust manifold for Spiders. He said he might be able to do it if there was interest. I was wondering if anyone on this board would buy one if he was able to give us a price point.

I have an 82 Turbo, but it was removed. I have the actual Turbo (which doesn't spin) and nothing else. I don't even know all the parts I would need to get the system back together. Assuming this is a key part I would be interested. Also any advice on where to accumulate the rest (nothing on ebay) would be appreciated.

Mark,
If you're serious about it, and need a visual pattern, I may have a Spider turbo manifold sitting around. Let me make sure I still have it. It's yours if you want it...I'm sure I'll get around to making one of the runs soon, I can hand it off then.

Turbo Option
A T25 or T25BB seems to be a good fit for our spiders. A T25 is physically smaller than a T3 and might make fitments easier. Price looks good for a real Garrett Turbo.

Turbo Manifold is cracked
My 1982 Spider Turbo 2000 has a cracked exhaust manifold and I am thinking of removing the Turbo altogether, unless anyone knows of a replacement manifold. Also, any info on what needs to be changed or any problems when removing the Turbo system.
Thx, Lo

This aint about options. For once in your life, be honest. You got a problem with Mark. He has done nothing but help people and give free advice when needed, to anyone. He dosent bs people, like someone I wont name, and he dosent build engines that dont work and are not even salvageable. And his shop is not imaginary. And he dosent post pictures of cars he cant afford, that dont even have anything to do with this site. How many times are we gonna have to do this.
Oh i almost forgot, he dosent have an imaginary club that does imaginary runs. We have pictures from our runs. This dosent feel good. Ive lowered myself to your your level, now i need to go take a shower. Isnt it time to go back to Asia. Have a nice day. Well as nice a day as a snake can have anyway. To everyone else, I apoligize for this rebuttle. But this guy is so annoying.
