That rod is hot! I like the bikes in the back, too!
Having removed the heavy bumpers, the car does ride high. Lots of threads on here about cutting some coil off the stock springs, or getting the IAP springs that will lower the car. I love the way the front bumperless work was done, with the nice headlight lenses and the blinkers at the bumper post locations.
Could you post a pic of the rear, to see how the bumperless effect is in the back?
Very, very nice!

It is coming along. The turn signals were from Allison's as was the spoiler. I am making wire mesh grills for the remaining openings in the front. The rear is stil in progress. I have not had a "vision" yet on how to finish it off. I have been studying what a lot of folks on this forum have done. Sorry about the poor photos. If it actually doesn't rain this weekend, I might get it out for some better pics. Thanks for your comments.

Nice looking ride!

I too have just got a 78 & am totally liking the look of yours with the bumper removed & the chin spoiler & signals up front.
I am planning on doing the same mods & it's good to see what it will end up like.

I would like to see what you do to the rear end when you get it figured out.

Love the wheels, Rotas? Are you planning on lowering the stance?

Keep us posted on the progress.

You can't upload the pictures here. You need to upload them to a site like Photobucket or Flicker and then link to them here.

Here is a link to a tutorial on posting pictures.. http://fiatspider.com/f08/viewtopic.php ... os+#p48977
Basically, if you click on the Img button, at the top of a new post, it will give you "" with your cursor flashing in the middle. Just paste the url of your image in the middle where your cursor is flashing. One image per set.

Make sure to resize your images to 650 pixel width or smaller before you save them or they won't show the right side of the image.

Here is a photo of the car as it is today. Just getting ready for the All Italian car show at the XXX drive in.

Got the lights mounted in the lower grill last week. I'm happy with it. Now, to just get it lowered....
