Post by grittracing »

here is the Photos some pics may look like some you have seen before, hope you dont mind I borrowed the Porsche Pics. (not the reason I ask for them, I have been wanting one for a while now) and the front clip is from Brady. I had it painted and added the shelf. turned out great. other stuff was collected over the last 20 years. also the bumber hole blanks are now for sale. also I would not recommned cutting up a spider but if you have a junk one laying around they look great !

still thinking about it , the wires are all there but it is a small room. it might be looking into a light house light.

Totally cool!

Is that a factory grill? If so what year?
I need to find a chrome grill suround like that for mine, it looks unfinished without one.

I have looked at your marker lights & the bumper hole plates on ebay.
My bumpers are coming off soon & I need to figure out what to do then.

Maybe you could wire in a rheostat to dim the headlights or fit them with 1156 bulbs or something similar.

That looks great Tony! :P I really like the shelf and the stripe.
If anyone else is interested in a wall mounted spider, PM me.

It is a stock 1968 spider grill. Dimmer switch is a great idea. When you take your bumper off,if your interested in the bumper blanks and the turn signals i will give you a good deal on both. Also hopefully by the end of the month my new front air dam with fog lights will be ready for sales.

I was gonna suggest a dimmer switch also. Then hook your park lamps to the doorbell, so anytime you have a vistor you'll get a visual notification as well as an audio alert!

Dimmer switch??? Just take out the headlight relays and disconnect the "brown wire" The lights will be dim enough.

How about installing one of the stock electric horns and wiring that to the door bell.

Looks great BTW.

That is amazing. I want one. I did mount the front grill of my Alfa GTV to a piece of plexiglass, but it doesn't compare to this. Well done.

Great idea! But guys, don't try it with the tube bumper installed. It will collapse the wall
