Can anyone help provide me with an actual photo of their early model Spider ('74 and earlier) "Cowl Cover to Hood Rubber Seal" ? This is the rubber seal that is held down by 3 screws to the cowl cover just in front of the cowl grills. My Spider which is a '74 has the seal attached as pictured in the photo below. Later model spider's have the seal attached to the leading edge of the wiper cover just in front of the hood latch.
I ordered a replacement as shown in the photos below. Does this new part resemble anyone's hood seal whether early or later model year? I guess it could be the correct part. Since mine is bent over it just could be because it's due to age and wear, but it is a bit larger... I need to return it if it's not the correct part this week so any help would help.

Re: Wiper Cover Hood Rubber Seal
I believe the flat piece goes between the wiper cowl and the body. The screws just along the top of the firewall.

Re: Wiper Cover Hood Rubber Seal
Hello,
You received an aftermarket late seal. I will work, but it is not original. We sell the original early seal for $29.90, if you'd rather have that. It's just the rubber strip that goes in the hard plastic holder.
