124 0r 131

after pulling the heads and manifold on the intake side the block is stamped FIAT 131 and a few other numbers...do i have a 131 motor ? have i been wrong this whole time thinking im driving 124 ? or am i wrong now?help

you've got the right motor

so the 131 on the side jus a coincidence...not that it matters anymore..after you build it mark i will have the "right motor".

131 is the series of engine and doesn't mean it was designated for the 131 model
