Fitting after market wheels ??

Post by jamie mccormick »

Trying to fit after market wheels on my 80 spider .Previous owner had replaced locating pins on rotor face with bolts that won't allow new wheel to fit flush on rotor face.So can I just chuck the bolts or do they do something ??or do I need some sort of spacer for them?...bought them from fiat wheels.com.

you can do without the bolts, they do help keep the lug bolt holes aligned between the rotor and hub when the wheels are off

What I did was counter sink the centering pin holes and install bolts that match the counter sink with allen key holes.

Now the spacers stay in place and makes changing the tires much easier than trying to balance both at the same time.
