I went to the 12 hrs of Sebring a couple weeks ago, and saw this 124 running in the historic series. Any one here own/drive it? Never made it through that part of the padock to get an up-close view, but it looked good from far away. No clue how it did in the race.
Any one here racing at Sebring?

Very cool. I'd like to find out more about that Spider.
Re: Any one here racing at Sebring?
I found the list of entries for the race. The driver is John Tremblay of Orlando, Fl. Apparently the car is a 72. Looks like he finished 26 of 36, and there were also 5 DNFs.

Looks like the same car, all right, but not a '72 with those door handles and marker lights. Shouldn't he have a front hoop on that roll cage for SCCA? Maybe vintage cars have a different requirement.
Re: Any one here racing at Sebring?
Good call. I got the '72 model year from the race results page, didn't think to look at the details of the car.
The series they were running was SVRA, not sure what their roll cage rules are.

Hi there, I am John Tremblay and yes that was me....The car was back dated to meet the vintage requirments for the class... it runs great and is a lot of fun... not much out there that can stop or turn better. I have if for sale as I am looking into buying a spec ford ... my number is 407-851-2372 if anyone is interested, have an enclosed trailer i could sell as well and plenty of spare parts
