Not sure if they're the same seats. They look kind of strange - particularly the seat bottom - which appears to be on a strange angle.

I like those too. How do they compare to the Corbeau Sport Seats or GTS-II? I had some Corbeau's in my old 71 Pinto, and they worked pretty well.

Try like I did! got a pair of seats from a kia rio 08 rolled over at my local junk yard for 35us dollars (both). washed them and welded bracket extensions and came out beautiful with driver's arms rest. ingenuity is the name of the game. will post pics later

wow, these look great. I always wanted that style as it was in my Spider book, just like the pic redline has posted.
I installed SAAS (I think they are Australian Brand) seats which is similar to the Porsche 911 seventies style seat but have found that it sits too high. I mounted the rails onto a plate then mounted the plate to the seat as the rails would not fit directly.
In the process I have noticed the original spider seat base is shaped below the rail allowing to the seat to sit lower.
Being RHD the driver's seat is over the cat hump in which I believe they made the rail mounting points higher as well.
Shipping items like that to Oz end up costing a bomb  ......

I've had these in my car for about 20 years now, but believe they are the same. They fit right onto the stock tracks, bolt on, and you're good to go. One of the best things I ever did to the car.

While not the Pro Rally, I just received my order for the Pro-90s. Total $466 for both, including shipping.

I, and I suspect others, will be very interested in how the installation goes - with pics if possible.

One has just come up for sale here in Switzerland with those seats. They look quite good:

Redline - since you have Tipler's 124 book, I thought you might be interested to know that I am 99% certain that this Spider for sale is the same one as shown in the book. My friend Andy restored this back in the early 90's, and when it came time to sell the eventual buyer had it shipped to Europe. Aside from this being the same USA-spec '68 painted Ferrari yellow, the reason I know this is the same car is the personalized dash wood (with an additional piece on the center console) and the Procar seats. Nice to know it's still around and looking as good as it did then.

I'm looking at the Corbeau Sport seat with inflatable lumbar and seat heaters. Being in AZ, cloth works well, as vinyl will melt skin. They even make a bracket specifically for a spider. corbeau site say $644 each for the whole package.
With my current seat, the frames are rusty, the foam is powder, the recliner (gangster lean) is busted. So i would easily spend this kind of money plus put in a couple of months work to do the original seats. looks like a no-brainer. would like to see pix of these seats in a car if anyone has them.

You are probably correct, as it is sold with EU papers, not Swiss papers. For information, it is offered (and will certainly sell for) 22'000 CHF. The market for these is strong over here.

Sorry to revive this older thread BUT....has anyone followed through with a direct replacement no welding, no cursing seat? Lots of talk about the pro rally, but no installed information? Very curious.
